Our hiring process is designed to ensure we find the best candidate for our business needs while offering a rewarding career to new employees. Here is what you can expect in four easy steps…

We encourage you to carefully review our current openings and to submit your resume to any position that matches your experience, qualifications, and career interests. When applying for a position, you will be asked to create a profile, which allows you to update your information at any time. Your resume will remain in our applicant tracking system (ATS) as part of our resume database. Click here to search jobs.
Once submitted, your resume will be reviewed by our Talent Acquisition (TA) team against the hiring criteria for the position. If there appears to be a match to our business needs, someone from our TA team will reach out to you for an initial phone screen so we can learn more about you and your qualifications. You may also complete a phone interview with the hiring manager, which allows you to learn more about the manager and the open position. If there is a mutual interest to continue in the consideration process, you’ll be invited to meet with team members for onsite interviews. Depending on the position and expertise required, you may be asked to complete a skills test or prepare specific information, as part of the interview process. Watkins Manufacturing also conducts reference checks as the final step in the interview process.
Once the interviews are completed, the interview team will meet to review the feedback and determine next steps. The TA team will work to provide you timely communication and feedback throughout this process. If you are the candidate selected for the role, Watkins will take several factors into consideration to prepare a competitive offer for employment. We will extend the offer to you verbally over the phone and send you the formal offer through our ATS. During the verbal offer, we’ll identify a decision timeframe that is agreeable for both parties. All offers are contingent upon successfully completing the pre-employment checks.
Upon your offer acceptance, Watkins will initiate pre-employment checks, which generally include a background check to verify your employment, education and any criminal history, a pre-employment physical and a drug screen (we are a zero tolerance, drug-free workplace). Our offer for employment will be contingent upon successful completion of these items. Certain positions may require additional checks and verification. Once these checks have cleared, you will be ready to join us and start your fulfilling career at Watkins!
